My black pants bled o a white sweater in the wash How do I get out the stain?

Who washes black with white in the first place? Though there are some over the counter color products, most will not change out such a mistake. Learn not to mix your colors and you won't have this question.

    I had a similar problem with red bleeding onto white. Rit color remover worked for me. You can usually find it in the laundry section of grocery stores/drugstores, etc. Follow the directions on the box.

    To avoid these problems now, I use Shout Color Catcher.

    If you haven't dried the sweater yet then you are in luck! Just re-wash the sweater and it should come out. If it has gone through the dryer, though, then the heat set the stain and it will probably not come out. You could try soaking it in OxyClean, though, and it may come out.
