How can I grow my nails fast?

Question

I haven't bitten them in close to three weeks now, but I am a cosmetology student so I'm constantly getting my nails done at school.

I don't use acrylics or wraps, I just have been getting regular water manicures. What can I do to make my nails grow? It seems like they're just staying the same.
