How can I do this in my kitchen?

I'm wanting to put that stickyback drawer on the countertops because they are so old, ugly, and porus. So to keep them sanitary and appealing to the eye I'd like to put the liner on them. Will it hold up? How often should I replace?

You may want to try the sheet type of Formica. Not too difficult to install and should take care of your problem.

I don't think it would hold up at all
you can try it and replace it as needed
but I think it would be a waste of time and money
