Handy People? Any ideas how I can make a mold like this?

I want to make a pressed salad. I don't really have any major power tools and I'd rather not spend as much as they want here

Use an empty and clean aluminum can with both ends cut away. I would not pay $12 for the thing either unless you plan on using it a lot.

The "can" idea is great. I was about to suggest that you go to a plumbing supply and get them to cut you a piece of pipe made from metal such as stainless steel or other metal or plastic of your choice.
