Resolved Question

Show me another »

I just came up with another question! Who should I talk to about this?

I have a situation (That is explained here- http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;… ) in which I would like to talk to someone about. If you read it you'll know I obviously can't talk to my mom about. My dad and my grandma are just out of the question as well.

So who would you guys think to be a good person to talk about this between the following:

My sister who knows (younger sister)

My older and much more reasonable sister (She doesn't know and I am afraid if I tell her mom might figure out I told her and that would not be pretty)

My youth minister (I am a bit unsure about him because I don't know if this information should only be circulated in the family)

Or should I only rely on people I don't know online like I am now?

I would really love to talk to someone who won't leak the info that I told them back to my mom and who would be understanding and willing to talk to me about this, because this really hits me hard. This is like one of the biggest things I have ever learned of in my life.

Your pastor has to hold your confidential information.

Sounds like you had a bond with your brother and was always missing and grieving for him before you ever found out what happened and so there is some supernatural connection to him. Like he is your guardian angel.

All my life I longed for a younger sister, I always wished I had one because my older sibling were so horrific and I was so abused in my family that I said had I been given the gift of a younger sister I would treat her so good and take good care of her.

I have an older sister who I haven't seen in over 25 years. It's because of the kind of family I come from dysfunctional and she wanted nothing to do with the family and left out of state and hasn't looked back. She was always mean to me and I give you this comfort in you knowing The Lord doesn't want any life he created to be an abortion, whatever lead this to happen, it is done and you need to find a way to come to terms with this so it doesn't affect the rest of your life.

Best Wishes and speak with the pastor

I know the longing you feel

Asker's Comment:
Thanks. I don't know if he is a 'guardian angel' to me, but that would make me sooooooo happy if he were. If I knew for a fact that God has had him looking over me all these years I know I would be crying tears of joy.

I don't know why I love him since I never knew him, but maybe that's brotherhood

dam im sorry to hear what happened! if it was me id talk to my mum about it but if thats rele not an option! then maybe talk to your sister. people say things happen for a reason and you sound like a big believer in god! then maybe your youth minister either way i wouldnt worry about it too much! most people look up to there brothers it would be hard for me if i had none! but dont forget you have your sisters to look to! any how maybe god thinks you dont need someone to protect you maybe he thinks you can fend for yourself. well hope i helped.
