If I get my navel pierced with a ring, can i still use bars?

I just got my belly button pierced, and I still cannot change it from the small 14g ring that they put it, but I'm shopping for new belly jewelry. Because I got my belly button pierced with a ring, am I only able to wear belly rings, or can I wear all sorts of belly jewelry? I'm not sure if the shape of my hole is different..

You can wear any type of navel jewelery.
Most places that piece your navel will put a hoop in because its easier to clean, and less likely to get infected.
When it's all healed up, (no bleeding or pus) than you can switch it out to a bar.

You can use a curved bar as long as it's made for navel use as the hole is exactly the same but you can't change it for 6-8 weeks so it's a bit pointless shopping for jewellery now.

You can use hoops or the curved jewelry for naval piercings. Actually you could put a straight bar in if you really wanted to, but it'd be silly.

I dont know what other sorts of things you can stick in your belly button tbhh. Everyone just has the ring.

As long as its 14g then its the same size as your hole so it would fit.

The hole is exactly the same. I had mine pierced with a ring and then changed it to a bar as soon as I could
