Would I be consider a Vegetarian?

I don't choose not to eat meat, I would love to be able to eat meat because of the protein and nutrients. But the smell of all meat makes me gag and if I try eating it I will vomit. And yes I naturally don't like the taste of meat. I did researches and I found out true vegetarians choose to be that way and naturally are not that way. So what would I be? Is their any one else with this eating disorder? I can't help myself.

Vegetarianism is more of a choice. What you are is a herbivore, sorta. But, can you eat shellfish, eggs, or poultry without vomiting? 'Cause then you just might be a semi-vegetarian or pescetarian (not by choice of course).

On another note, your reaction is more of an allergy. By consuming meat you experience your bodies natural reaction which is vomiting. I have the same problem when it comes to yogurt. The idea of a dairy product and fruit sound wonderful but as soon as I try to swallow, I vomit.

Thanks ya this really does seems to be what the problem is
If you consume flesh of any animal (including aquatic ones) then you're a meat eater, or a pescetarian (fish). Don't worry, there are many other places to get complete, great sources of protein and in fact your essential nutrients are most available in a plant-based diet.

It works out well for both you and the animals/environment :) If you're thinking of it for the animals and not just health, vegetarianism still kills a huge amount of animals through the egg/dairy/clothing/testing etc industries. Veganism would be the way to go for that.

Even if you are just vegetarian, make sure to eat things like quinoa and hemp seeds (all essential amino acids - complete protein) and flax and chia (omega 3 etc). Most of the world's nutrition is found in seeds like these. Quinoa has more (complete!) protein in it pound for pound than beef,

So things like that are the way to go if animal products don't sit well with your system and/or concerned with animals/environment. I hope this helps!
