Sounds like something came lose inside. Try opening up the top portion or the back to see if any of the balancing springs came loose.

- not sure if this fixes it or not but i already knew the other stuff and i know its level and its not the clothes being off balance. i knew it had to be something else and i didn't know it had balancing springs so thanks alot for your help.

Are there too many clothes inside? Sometimes stuffing the washer causes that type of action.

The washer may be off balance due to washing a heavy load or washing a blanket or blue jeans that all got pushed to one side while in the wash cycle. Get out a level to see if it's level, at the bottom front "legs" of the washer, they usually adjust by twisting them, this will raise/lower each side of the washer and hopefully balance it back to the way it was.
