Gemini Relationships? Your experiences!?

Question

I love astrology, and of course as any true Gemini does, I love my star sign so very much, and I am extremely interested in what other people think of us! As a Gemini (May 26th first Deccan) I find that my relationships with people are never deep, which I prefer. I find many people don't understand why geminis never seem to be able to commit to a deep friendship, or relationship. From my own wisdom and deep thought, I have come to a conclusion about myself, and many other geminis. I had this friend, and we pretty close, she a (Pisces Female) was a dreamer, funny, and good person who you could always rely on. But she was the most clingy person I have ever met! I couldn't understand how anyone could be so clingy! She always wanted me to pay attention to her, then as the friendship went on she started to be controlling of who I could be friends with and then possessive. That's when i cut the friendship. My best friend at the moment (Leo Female) is self loving, a drama queen and attention seeker. After thinking about it for a while, it dawned on me, I wanted a friendship, that was more a competition than a friendship. My Pisces friend wanted to be friends with me. My Leo friend kinda needs me as her competition. I have never had a deep friendship. Now I know why, I'm so fickle, superficial and self loving that I needed a friend who I could show up as much as possible.

But by being friends with her, I have gained someone who I actually like, we're quite good friends now, I have never not been in a group situation before. A lot of the times I just walk away and chat, but that's the thing about our friendship that's so great, she lets me be me, and doesn't mind!

P.s I think it could also have something to do with the fact that Geminis are deep thinkers and don't need deep relationships. Their just an added bonus, if the person is intelligent enough to be around us.

Please tell me your opinion!

I to want a soul mate. But I don't think I could commit. (In the past it has been a problem) I agree it really does depend on your chart.

lol, you sure do sound like you think you should rule the whole world...

what I know about gemini is, that if they could stop being so selfabsorbed, and superficial they can make good friends. But I just never met one....

Instead I've met a very wise sagittarius who said that everything he did, he would do it 100% and if gemini is the opposite of this very true sagittarian, then they will always do nothing, and never get to a deeper understanding of life and never develop as a person.... but I guess you would say that you dont have to ;)
But then I would think that you deep inside is a very lonely person!

hahaha, I would say that we aren't being self absorbed or superficial, but being ourselves. we wouldn't be us if we didn't have the qualities we have. Other Zodiacs either like us or hate us. But we're not going to change

I disagree with a lot of what you said, you have to look at the whole chart.

I am a First Deccan Gemini and I have a few real close relationships, one 21 years with a Sag, another 10 years with an Aquarius, and the other 7 years with and Sag.

Gemini's are generally more picky with who they will be friends with you have to earn their trust before they will commit to you.

One of my closest friends is a Gemini sun, moon, rising, Mercury and Venus! I can basically say anything to her, because she doesn't take anything personally, and never gets offended just because you don't like who she likes, unlike my other friends who usually get offended. She's very opinionated, I don't like that about her, but I enjoy it because I love arguing with her. She always has something interesting to say.

Why we get along better than with others is because we both see the people in our school as ridiculous with their trends, and we're quite fine with not being "cool".

I disagree. Im a libra with gemini moon and rising so theres strong gemini in my chart and i want to have a soulmate. That is said about a lot of geminis. I also have a contact on here who is a gemini sun and she is the same as me wanting deep connections with people

I am a scorpio female and I have dated 2 geminis before, one with the same birthday as you. I have completely sworn off geminis!!! i don't know how they mesh with other signs but scorpios and geminis are terrible for eachother. I find because of their dual personalities they don't want to commit to anything and always have one foot out the door-and scorpios prefer intense and deep connections. I noticed my ex's were the same way with their friends too, like they would hang out with the same person every day for a month and then get bored and move on to a new friend?? it was just too frustrating for me!
