My man has acted so oddly?

Is there a mental health issue here ?
ihad been very close to my boyfried for over a year, but he was always very insecure with me. i stopped doing all my usual stuff as it made him feel threatened. we had a long distance relationship but we saw each otherwhen we could. he then became really really obsessed with the fact i didnt close down a computer account when heasked me to..the reason being it was one my son used also, and as my son is only 14 years old..i felt if we shared an account i could check he was using the internet safetly. i had a few contacts but deleted them all as my man was so unsure. anyway... out of the blue..after being with him on the phone night after night..he dropped me. he wouldnt ansa his phone and he told me the engagement ring he bought ..he shouldnt have done. he jut distanced me overnight with no apparent reason for doing so. this was 3 plus months ago. i broke my heart for months, but now im getting stronger. however hes contacting me now..telling me he had set tests for me which i failed. he texts me and tells me he will contact me to review our split on 1st dec. if i dont contact him..he ill text and say i love you..then when i raise my hopes and call him. he says he cant talk to me and he is cold and distant. he supposedly has bipolar but idk. he doesnt chase other women cos hes a solitary moody character..but im wondering if its me o rhim whos lost it..plz help what would you do ?

Dealing with a bipolar person, if he is truly bipolar, is one of the most difficult things you will do in your life. I'm telling you from experience. Bipolar people can be aggressive. If you've already distanced yourself from him, just stay away. He has already shown you signs thay he can be possessive and that's not healthy in any relationship.
