Masturbation linked to cycle?

Hey everyone! I'm 17 years old and ever since I was a wee 11 years old, my period has been 5 days long, with a 28 day cycle. However, my period has come a full week early this month, and the only thing I've changed is that I've started to masturbate. Could this have triggered my period to come early? Should I stop if it's going to mess up my cycle? Thanks!

It is unlikely that masturbation will change your cycle. Most women masturbate to some extent and if it caused changes in periods, we'd know about it by now.

This is just a coincidence; don't worry about it. Changes in your cycle as you age are pretty common.

that's funny in a cute way. Did you start/change/stop birth control pills recently? I know that screws with my cycle. Also, sometimes it just starts a week early. Periods are strange that way.
