Is it bad that I want to go out without my best friend?

I haven't been wanting to spend nearly as much time with my best friends anymore, because both of us used to see each other 24/7, but now I am trying to spend time with some of my new friends as well. I still see her, but now nearly as much anymore. Is is bad that I am kinda ditching her to spend time with other friends?

definitely not.
Best friends want the best for each other, so its good for both of you to go out and met new people/get to know existing friends more.

okay because I just feel bad when I tell her I'm gonna go to a party with some other friends, but that will be at the back of my mind next time she mentions that we don't hang out all the time anymore. Thank you (:

No you two don't HAVE to be with each other ALL the time, but don't over-do it. Then you wouldn't be, being an good friend.
