A good shampoo for the winter...?

Question

I always get terrible 'winter hair' when it gets cold out. I blame it mostly on the dryness of the season.
Does anybody know of a good shampoo that you use during the winter?
Usually I use Herbal Essences, but it doesn't work in the winter. Nothing else has worked for me.

Well, that's a good question. I don't know any shampoos for the winter, or anything in particular though.
If you're that interested in finding the right shampoo, I would suggest looking into Pantene or Dove products. I know that Pantene has a lot of different types of shampoos.If you're really concerned, you may consider asking someone at a hair salon if you get your hair done. I have Herbal Essences too, and that isn't working for me either. Try Pantene, though. If your hair is dry, maybe you should wash with the same shampoo, but use Leave In conditioner. If that doesn't work either, do some research online, or make up a survey for your friends and see what they do for their hair. How many times do you put moisturizer in your hair? Perhaps you need to put in moisturizer more often. Also, don't put moisturizer on just the top of your head, do on in the scalp, too. If you're concerned about wasting money, you can use Vaseline. It works for me. I hope that answers your question.

Well i would use a deep conditioner for one thing. I think the conditioner (in the winter) matters more then the shampoo. Just get a gentle one (like neutrogena triple moisture) and use a really good conditioner.

Try TRESemme in Moisture or Smooth and Silky. I also recommend leave-in conditioner.
