Simple but nice christmas gift for a girl?

there is this girl i really like (and she likes me back) I plan to ask her out soon. i also wasnt to prepare a christmas gift for her but it should be something cheap because i dont have a job at the moment (not lazy...just a long story). i want it to be something that she will love and wont burn my wallet. does anyone have any ideas?
im 17 she is 18 so nothing too crazy

Jewelry is a good one, choose something simple but pretty, take a female family member or friend to pick something like a neckless :]
OR take her out for a suprise meal or picnic, take her flowers, play her favourite music and just have a lovely time, I would love that as a suprise christmas gift and also cos' it'll be cold you can snuggle up in some blankets together [:
