Appetizer in a trifle bowl?

Question

Can you tell me of an appetizer that I can put in a trifle bowl besides mexican bean dip or a dessert? I've been looking online and practically everything is a dessert...but I need something BEFORE the meal... :) Thanks!

What if you did some sort of soup, like gazpacho? People could dip cups into it like punch.

I would recommend a chilled tomato basil soup topped with three small diced tomatoes and a pinch of chiffonade basil. You have to make the soup fresh though store bought soup tastes bad chilled.

salami with nacho and potato chips rended...i used that once.It was delicious.all my friends loved it!
