Should I cook my turkey and stuffing separate then stuff the bird just before I serve it?

If it is cooked inside the bird it is stuffing.

If it is cooked outside the bird, it is dressing.

Most people agree that cooking it inside the bird interferes with proper cooking of the bird.

I recommend you cook it separately, and serve it separately, as dressing.
