It's riving me nuts and i feel horrible and i need to quench my thirst but nothing works! for some reason i'm also craving juicey fruits like melon, watermelon, and pinapple, which i dont have. So why doesnt water quench my thirst?

This may be something to ask your doctor about. Sometimes excessive thirst is a symptom of diabetes.

You should go be screened for diabetes. Excessive thirst and constant urination are the 2 glaring symptoms.

you say a lot but i wonder what a lot means to you. 2-3 liters? squeeze some lemon or lime (or limon) in the water.

thirsty? Once you start to feel thirsty, it’s too late -- you’ve already lost too much water! Fluid balance is a very important part of your body being able to maintain homeostasis, a state of balance that allows the body to function properly. Losing just 2% of your body’s water leaves you dehydrated, fatigued, and unready for what’s ahead of you. If you wait until you feel thirsty, it will take even longer for your body to get back to its normal functioning state.

You need to make an appointment to see your Dr. and have some blood work ordered ASAP. Un quenched thirst is a symptom of diabetes. The craving for juicy acidic fruits may indicate your body is screaming for not just moisture, but certain electrolytes and vitamins and is off balance.
Good luck, you'll be fine, but just do it.
