Do you think a woman going to a bar by herself is a bad thing?

Just wondering, because I'm more of the relaxed laid back type and my friends are more of the party hardy, dance type. I think the bar is a little more laid back, so I would like to go by myself someday. What do you guys think? Good or bad idea?

I met my hubby at a bar. No I don't think there is a thing the matter with it. I use to go by myself, because sometimes your friends can get in your way. Whatever floats your boat. Good Luck and have fun, and of course be careful.

I was a barmaid for several years. Unfortunately a bar is still a place where a single woman will be hit on. This may or may not be a good thing for you. Picking up guys in bars is risky though, on your own.
