its this really cute guy in my english class named josh and i really like him i mean really like him we have talked in the past and we are still talking but i don't know how to tell him that i like him or have the guts enough to ask him if he likes me to without embarrasing myself. heellllppp meeeeeee!!!!! we are great friends btw.

try flirting a little or bring up relationship things. talk about what movies you like or something and if you both like the same things suggest to go to one together.

Dont tell him by words. Use actions and use them obviously strong with him in your privacy. Tell him stuff like....Im Going to get ....what kind do U want, and tell him what U want some times, make him ur's and see how he responds. If he doesnt respond like a boyfriend then U can still keep him as a friend.

get his number or something and text him and be like i like this guy... and if he says that he likes this girl then he is talking about you. DONT BASE YOUR WHOLE RELATIONSHIP ON TEXTING!! i did that over the summer with this one guy and it was awful.

I don't think you should tell him, "hey, I like you." Makes you to vulnerable. I think its best to just flirt with him and see if he flirts back. If this continues see if he will ask you out or you might suggest hanging out one day. Let's go get pizza, etc. If this works and the liking continues on both parts, then a relationship forms. No need to tell him you like, I think its pretty much a given at this point.

You are going to have to spell it out for him. Make a cute note that says, "I like you - do you like me? Check Yes or No" That's a classic because little kids do it all the time. Hilarious!

Or call him, tell him you like him, etc. There are no ways around the "embarrassing yourself" reality - you are going to have to risk it.

But you can reduce risk by trying flirting, and see if he does it back. You can try light touches, and see if he does it back. Then again, there's no guarantee - Based on personal experience, I didn't always do it back.
