Hi. So I have been going to the gym 4x a week and have been eating excellent.Soup, salad, lean meats etc.?

I also do 2 classes for 40 Min's each. Usually spinning, core or step and core. I am 5'9 and weighed 186lbs when I began 4 weeks ago. I now weigh 179 which is good yet I have completely changed my lifestyle. How can I kick it up a notch. Getting frustrated but not going to quit. My second daughter is 2 1/2 and this weight is coming off dammit! P.S. Getting married in May in Mexico so need to be bikini ready! Thanks ahead for all positive and encouraging answers :)

Generally people can healthily lose weight at a rate of 1-2 pounds a week so after 4 weeks you should have lost around 4-8 pounds which you have. It is important to continue to lose this weight healthily and not limit you calories too much otherwise the weight will just creep back on once you start eating normall again. I know it can be frustrating because it seems like a slow process but sometimes it helps to stop focusing on the weight but focus on how much easier your exercising is getting. I'm sure you feel a lot stronger in your classes now than you did 4 weeks ago. Continue to try new things, force yourself to run for 5 extra minutes or bike for an extra mile. Good luck!

If you have difficulties with weight do what I did - try acai berry. If you want to lose weight its superfood qualities help plenty - nevertheless those same qualities in addition help those who are trying to bulk up. Magic! There's a free trial going on right now at http://dulend.dietclinics.info , why not try it, what's the worst that could happen?

it's not just what you eat, it's when you eat, too. you need to eat 5-6 smaller meals per day(to keep your metabolism high) instead of 3 big meals. losing 7 pounds in 4 weeks is good. step by step. make small goals so you can continue to see your progress and not get overwhelmed by your ultimate goal. you can do it! you sound like you already have the drive. hang in there! you might also try the stationary bike. it's excellent for cardio and not doesn't cause your legs and knees to take the pounding they do in running and most cardio classes. and the ultimate formula is: burn more calories than you take in. also, since your goal is to lose weight, you dont want to exercise too much, as you might add muscle mass, which is weight, too.

Okay.... I'm not going to ask if you're sure you are "eating excellent". I'll assume that means you are eating 5-6 small meals a day with a focus on lean means and vegetables, right?

As for exercise.... You need a balance of resistance training, cardio/interval training, and some ab exercises. Having said that, I'd have to know what you've been doing to make a suggestion on how to "kick it up a notch". But the key is to create a balance that helps you build so muscle to increase your resting metabolism burn and tone and to burn some calories with the cardio or interval training to shed the body fat.

Coupled with a good diet that offers you enough fuel for your body but doesn't put more calories going in than you are burning, you will get results.

Here's a link to some boot camp programs you can do at home....
