Should I be concerned?
I'm baking brownies and I am also melting caramel to drizzle on top, and I have been using a plastic spoon to swirl the caramel, however I lifted the spoon and it had been partially melted becuase of the heat! Should I be concerned that some of the plastic may have gotten into the caramel and may harm ppl if they consume it?

I don't think it will be harmful but it's possible it may have a little bit of taste difference. I wouldn't worry about it, brownies at my house don't last long and I'm sure yours won't either

It might have and in which case it wouldn't be a good idea for people to eat it. Just to be safe I would throw out that batch and do another, this time try using a wooden spoon or a metal one from your dinner collection.

I think you'll be fine. Just go get the wooden spoon or a metal one.
Welcome to the wonderful wold of baking and cooking. I've done this one myself and I knew better. I just wasn't thinking and stuck a plastic spoon in a pan full of boiling peach jam. Ooops. I'm still here and so is the rest of my family.
