Hair color changes as we age. Blonde is the most often changed color. Many children have blonde hair until around puberty then it darkens to brown.

I had super white hair when I was little and now it's a honey blonde; much darker than when I was little.

You hair's texture changes as well which is why your hair is no longer straight.
