Nowhere near as many as PETA would hope for, and a heck of a lot less than anti-vegetarians believe to be the case.
PETA may do some good things, but also a lot of stupid things and some bad things, and frankly, the organisation is completely irrelevant to most vegetarians.

I like them because they're the best at spreading the word about things, and they get the message across. also they have really cute t-shirts and stuff.
I have heard some bad bad stuff but I dont know if its true :(?

i am a vegetarian. i believe in peta and what peta stands for but i think they exagerate it a little bit. I became vegetarian because i couldn't stand the thought of eating something that was alive. it wasn't exactly because i believe in animal cruelty(although i do think it is wrong)
many vegetarians/vegans do not support peta. but many do. many people that do eat meat also support peta. they make sure there meat is coming from a good place.
for example: khloe kardashian eats meat but she did a whole promo for "i would rather go naked that wear fur"

I'm a long-time vegetarian, newly vegan, and I passionately hate PETA. They're psychotic, sexist, and dictatorial. If I remember right, they want to eventually eradicate personal ownership of pets. Many of the animals they've "saved", they have eventually put down (i.e. killed). They're hypocritical, and they don't even do it politely. Read up on them, Google them; they're more dangerous than the peaceful front they project.

their goals are good but what they do to achieve them,
well, i think it's a little outrageous.

I use their website sometimes to figure out what brands test on animals and stuff but I don't really support them. They exaggerate and try to force people to be vegan which doesn't work, it just turns people away from it.
