It feels like theres so much going wrong?

Im a 17 year old male and don't think i can cope. Firstly, Im 6'5' and quite skinny which i hate, i always feel like i stick out. Secondly i'v not had a girlfriend for sooooooo long. Iv only kissed 4 girls in my entire life! I also feel like I do nothing to help the world, like i am forever getting depressed about how little i do to help people, I don't know how to bring myself to do good things and say nice things without getting all embarrased. I am (in my opinion) very selfish, which means i do most things my way, when I do say something, or act in a nice manner i feel sooo good, Then wonder why i cant do this all the time so get depressed again. I feel like im slipping away gradually from all my friends and starting to turn into a loner and I always feel so imature. I hate how my mum is living at home on her own when I am in Liverpool studying Preforming Arts which i don't even think I want to do. I don't want to tell my mum though as I think she would be upset because Its all I have wanted to do in my life. Im thinking of getting a diary (as gay as this might sound but I don't care) And writing a really long list of things to do before I die, and hopefully by doing this I will feel A much better person. And if not, i don't know what to do at all. Any advice or help would be great. Thanks!

relax sure you stand out be proud of it ...and let go let your self be you if you want to be nice be nice its better than sticking out as butt head stick out as a man that is proud of him self because your are a nice guy....writing is not gay and the arts deal is some times when you have a lot of things bugging you it is easy to loose focus on what you want to do..so write down your thoughts and work on your conveniences there is no shame in helping others ...

It sounds like you are having a hard time figuring out who you are and what you want and where your going. This is normal for anyone to go through. Feeling lost or awkward is normal however if you are feeling depressed and feel like you are slipping a way then you should look at getting some professional help. Seek out a counselor who can help you find out why you feel the way you do about yourself and situation. It sounds like you are a very self aware young man who may just need a little push in figuring things out. I would also encourage you to talk to your mom about how you are feeling about your studies. If your heart is not in it then you should find something that will make you happy...also it could be this that is causing all the negative feelings. While writing down what you want to accomplish is a good idea I would also suggest writing out how you are feeling everyday and what is going on that day. This can help you look at what may trigger such negative emotions about yourself and situation. Hope this helps!

Your hormones are affecting yr emotions & making you feel bad. Ask the doctor for help with this. I know there's help for girls but when yr serotonin is low this can be dangerous for you. Be careful about dwelling on your death, though it may be tempting. As you have life for now and it's time to make plans for your 'life'. I felt like you & was so confused. But be careful because emotions are often lying to you to make you feel bad.

Do a chart of what you would do in 5 years if you could do anything you want. Stick it on the wall & just leave it there. Even though the things you wish you could do now seem impossible, one of them things may become possible. Do a mind map. Put you in the centre. I would love to know what your goals are ..... email me if you can xx
