Can You Freeze Canned Pumpkin?

My mom bought a huge can of pumpkin(not pumpkin pie filling). It's more than I can use at one time. Can the rest be frozen? Will thawing make it too runny to set?

Yep, have some in the freezer right now. If the pie companies can freeze it, so can you.
Put it in a plastic container not much bigger than the amount of pumpkin, and for extra safety, put that in a plastic bag.
No, it will not be too runny. I would thaw it in the refrigerator, lid on, to protect it from the air and drying it out.
