When Do You Put The Marshmallows On The Pumpkin Pie?
Most recipes say bake the pie then top with marshmallows and put under the broiler. But my broiler isn't working. Can I bake the pie with the marshmallows on top? Will they burn?

put them on 10 mins before pie is done then leave in oven til they look the way you like them to...they wont get as brown as when you put then in the broiler tho.

I have never put marshmellows on my pumpkin pie, but you can put them on when your pie has finished cooking and let the heat melt them.

That's the first time i've heard of marshmallows on pumpkin pie.:D I wouldn't put them on while there baking b/c they can be pretty hard after they cool when there over baked. I would just put them on as soon as the pie is done so it's still hot, and if you want them browned, I would put it back in on a lower heat for just a couple min. and see if that works
