Many guys are worried lest they do exactly this - tear their frænulum because it was too short. They worry whether they should have an operation to "fix" it. We suggest that they simply stretch it gradually.
What is interesting is that girls used (before the advent of tampons) to pretty much *expect* their hymen to be torn. Well, it didn't happen *all* that often anyway and indeed, shouldn't happen if you aren't going at it like a horse, but having a torn hymen is pretty much considered a Good Thing and no panic.
In fact, a torn frænulum is no different. Yes, it tears, and it bleeds. It will be a bit sore while it heals (possibly more so than a hymen, especially since you need to "use" it even while it heals) and will take a week or two (but this area does actually heal pretty fast overall because of that great blood supply), maybe will be sore for a couple of weeks after that.
What is pretty groovy is that - you've *fixed* any problem you had (so - you *want* it to heal as it is - torn)! No need to see a doctor, nothing more to be done. Minor chance it's only partly torn and could tear further but the story would be the same (and - just like the girls!).
