Why does she have sex all the time and shes only 13?

am 14 and i have this friend that is about 13 i knew her since like 4 years now and shes always been a nice helpfull person when we got to our secondary school at the end of year seven she started having fights at school and at the start of year 9 she told me she had sex with this random person and now she does it all the time. Yesterday i spoke to her and she was like ohh you know that guy from our year i had it with him. So all im wondering about is why does she do it and does she think it makes her seem cooler ??
Its maybe because she lives in a bad area or that she has 16 brothers and sisters and she is trying to have her own life without them i dont know what to think ???

I think your friend is confusing having sex with getting attention and affection from someone else. Coming from such a large family, she probably grew up starved of any real love or affection or quality time with anyone and she now thinks that someone wanting sex with her, is someone giving her affection and whatever else she lacks in her life.

she needs to be careful that she doesn't end up pregnant or gets some sort of infection from these casual relationship.

Whatever you think about what she is doing, I think you friend needs you there to support her and be a friend.

i have a friend like that too, shes acts asiff its all normal, maybe she does it for her reputation, maybe for the joy? maybe because she was forced into it the first time and sees no point in stopping and to not continue, meh i dont noe, ask her why.

For some reason girls who are sexually abused when they are young look to recreate their abusive situation, and it can really destroy your friends life if she doesn't get help soon. If there is an adult you know you can trust, someone who you think will know what to do, tell him or her as soon as possible that you are concerned for your friend.

It sound like there is a reason behind her needing that type of attention from guys. Usually girls who act that way have been mistreated sexually by someone in there past. Sometimes it can also be a result of having abandonment issues in adult male figures in life. I would talk to her and try to see why she is acting so reckless. It would also probably be a good idea to talk to a school therapist about what you know and what you should do. But be careful because if you tell the wrong person and your friend thinks her trust in you has been betrayed it might make the situation worsen.

talk to her about this. she might be sexually abused at home or before this or is having problems at home.
if you are her true close friend, find out the problem from her and help her get over with it.. 13 is not a healthy age for sex!!

i heard of a woman whose now 40 and she was like that and i think the underlying reason is lack of attention when growing up with so many siblings that she had to seek it elsewhere and this was the only way---- the very wrong way it leads to big trouble, her life is nothing now abortion adoption and 3 kids from 3 diff fathers.. yuk

Talk to her about std's, about cervical cancer, she can get these things & they are awful... She probably does it because she is unguided. It gives her attention she's not getting elsewhere
