Does PETA help animals like they claim they do?

No, many of the animals they have collected in the name of saving them, they have executed/put down/killed, or whatever you prefer to call it. Google "PETA truth" or really any combination of words leading to the reality of PETA.

I'm pretty sure they do . They b*tch at about any other celebrity sporting furs & what not . Look it up yourself on their website .

Yeah they do. Although in my opinion their tactics can be a bit too extreme.

RickyBoy has it right... go to PETA.ORG, click on ABOUT US, then click on VICTORIES.

Andrea has no idea what 2 do w/the 5-mil unadopted pets that end up in shelters every year... there aren't enough no kill shelters... it's not just a PETA thing... all shelters have 2 euthanize.

Personally, I'd say no.
Even though some times they "do" help animals, they kill more than they save.
