Where to place the second hole lobe piercing?
I'm going to pierce my second holes by myself. I have already pierced parts of my cartilage by myself and its turned out fine. but i was just wondering how far away from my first hole should i put the second hole. is there any kind of rule of measurement?

like a little less than an eraser width.

- this was nice because it gave me and object to compare it to instead of just a measurement.

I know you said the cartilage turned out fine, but I still wouldn't do it. Go see a professional so that you won't possibly screw it up.

less than a quarter of an inch probably. I really wouldn't do it myself either. Get a professional to do it. It really doesn't cost much and most places all you have to do is pay for the earrings and you get the piercing free.

I'd say about 0.5-0.7mm across from the first lobe piercing. But I'd also say get your seconds done professionally. I know cartilage is fine to do on your own, but lobe is a lot more difficult, messy, and painful! It's not really that expensive to get it done, you'd be better doing that than trying yourself. Even though piercing your own cartilage is relatively easy. :)
