Sweetheart, talk to your parents and then have a little meeting with them and your brother...sounds like maybe he has some problems that maybe they can help him with..ask him to have a serious talk with him and tell him how much you want a good relationship with him and he is making you have ill feelings toward him and you just want a good brother..unfortunately many 14 yr old boys are like this..he will probably grow out of it but until then its best to express your feelings...maybe he doesnt realize how much it is bothering you!! Good luck!

You should be telling your parents this, not strangers on the internet who really can't do a thing to help you.

Sonds like your average lame-*** brother. My sister and brother have been fighting since they were able to walk and talk. Best bet is to just ignore him and tell him how immature he is being. Hopefully he grows up sooner or later.

My older brother was like that with me...and now were best friends.
I dont know why they do it, but you can't let it get to you. Try giving him a hug out of the blue, it will catch him off track.
In a way he may be trying to toughen you up so he doesnt have to worry about you as much.

Well, honey. You have to deal with it. Unless, your parents are divorced and you can live with the other one. Anyhow, my Brother is two years older too, and when I was your age my dad used to tell me "he's the only you'll ever have" and its true. He'' mellow out with age.

Just ignore him. I grew up with 5 older brothers who all bugged me at some stage.
Now I love them all dearly.
It is just a teenage thing.
It will pass.
Be patient and try not to get into rows with him.

Dang that's messed up. Maybe you should find a way to show your friends how he really is and the other girls. Like record it somehow or just make him do it around them. Idk. Good luck. :)

Eventually your brother will mature, it takes longer for us guys though. Give him time. He loves you he is just too immature to show it and thinks it will make him unpopular. I'm guessing he teases you the most when he is around friends and trying to impress them am I right? Anyway hang in there. Someday when you need him most he will be there for you. You'll see :)

If you wait long enough your brother will become more mature. For now he is just a big goofball who does things to annoy you. You can only control your own self so try to put up with him for now until he grows a bit more mature and nicer to be around. Good luck.

P.A.R.E.N.T.S?
Don't try and hide your feelings, or else nobody will notice and help. Or you could spill a dirty secret and embarrass him in front of all the girls who think he's hot.

Talk to your mother or your father about it. Or you could always spend the night at your friends house when your brother acts up like that. My brother does that to me sometimes too.. he calls me names, but I just ignore it.
Also, it sounds like he is jealous of you.. if he won't leave you alone, he must want your attention for something, I guess.. if I was you'd tell him to just stop being jealous and to grow up.
Thank you and have a good day.

My apologies, but you can't change your brother, and who he is. What you have to do is rise above him and BE THE MATURE ONE, trust me, all of that immaturity will catch up with him in the future, and he will get his punnishment. If he's in high school, he will soon get either beat up or told off by someone, and if that doesnt help him become mature, i dont know what will. I hope this helped.

He's doing all this to get a reaction out of you. Do your best to ignore what he says, and if he says something really hurtful then be sensible with your reaction. Don't cry or shout, just look him right in the eyes and say "Stop insulting me."
You need to be stern and not so emotional. It's ok to feel upset, in fact in this situation I couldn't understand if you weren't upset, but don't show him that you're upset.
Also, the cold shoulder technique would work well on him, just ignore him. If he asks you a question then give him a one-worded answer without making eye contact.
He's being rude and annoying because he's a teenager and he wants to push his boundaries and get a reaction. If he doesn't get the attention he wants then he will give up.
It may take a week or two before things get better but keep trying.
Good Luck.

THERES NO SUCH THING AS A NICE BROTHER.
maybe they have their moments, but thats it. just ignore him. tell all of your friends how he really is. and the lying part, just get him back with your own lies. and remember, revenge is sweet!!!

If it really bothers you that much then talk to your parents and have them step in, before it gets worse.
There's a million ways to skin this cat, so just go about it by trying things one at a time, until you find something that works.
You are his little sister, which means there are thousands of ways that you could embarrass him and make his life a living hell, if you chose to do so.
Tell him that is exactly what you will start doing, if he doesn't start treating you with a little respect.
Most important of all, be willing to follow through with what it takes to teach him a lesson.

Embarrass him in front of as many people as possible. Tell your friends that he still wets the bed occasionally. Or do the big thing and accept his faults, know that in the next few years there'll be times he needs your help and you can let him suffer, or you can have him indebted to you. You'll be free from his tyranny soon enough, especially if he wants to have a chance with your friends.
