Does a navy trench coat go with a little black dress?

I have a navy blue trench coat that i just love! But im not sure if it goes well with a little black dress that i have and want to wear with the coat. help?

I think it will be fine but I think the best trench coat color you should wear is white. It would make your dress pop out amazingly and it would look great!!! lol I have a lot of little black dresses and people always compliment the white coat I wear with the dress. But the navy coat will be fine if you don't have one...plus your probably gonna take it off anyways so it doesn't really matter lol.

Yes it would go fine with it, just dont wear realy random coloured shoes that would clash, maybe just wear balck pumps?
