Will light brown/tan and light gray go together in fashion?

It really depends on how dark the two colors are but tan and gray will go together very well. You might want to include another color like mauve or purple to add a little pop because just tan and gray will be a bit bland. Maybe a belt or some funky accessories will also help the two look less drab.
