What does a girl do when she knows that you like her? Plzz help?

Question

I know this girl and I like her, but I've never talked to her before. My friends always say her name or ask me if I like her in front of her and all I can do is tell them to be quiet. She used to look at me a lot before, but now all she does is ignore. I even tried to message her on facebook... but still no response. She also seems to be very shy and not have a lot of guy friends. Should I just leave her alone and move on or go up and talk to her? I don't want to seem to desperate, also what kind of signs will she show now that she knows that I like her...?

i know that if i find out that a guy likes me i tend to become more shy. i get embarrassed if they look at me. She might be worried that she will sound stupid if she sends you a message. she doesn't know what to say.
talk to her:) she will be shy at first. so try to act layed back and don't be serious.
you are not desperate by doing this.
try to catch her looking at you. if she turns away quick and blushes then she most likely likes you

You should walk around wearing a banana suit, step right up to her, tear the suit off, open a pot of peanut butter, start smearing the peanut butter over your chest screaming "I LOVE YOU THIS MUCH" and hope she gets the idea. It's bound to work.

okay so that can mean that she's not sure what to make of knowing you like her or she doesn't want you to like her so she's 'avoiding you' so you won't ask her out and she won't have to deny you...
that's not the best way to go for it girl... i would know... heh...

BUT! there's also a chance she likes you too and just doesn't know what to do and you should push harder.

Girl here speaking: Well, you should go talk to her I mean ask her to hang out sometime. Just be cool but no sudden movements cause that surprisingly scares most shy girls. But be smart be a gentleman but also be yourself but don't get fancy cause that's just annoying. Don't ever act smart don't talk that much listen to her more unless if you guys practically have nothing than say than start a subject about school but don't be boring talk about jokes about people and gossips try to get her going and more comfortable in front of you. Try to get a kiss. But remember no sudden movements. The kiss should come from her and don't go somewhere that's really public cause most of the time that just ruins the kiss because of a distraction.
