Can Chocolate Chip Cookies be classified/considered as a Christmas Cookie?

Any cookie you like to eat or bake is a Christmas Cookie. What I do with my chocolate chip cookies every year for Christmas is I buy a bag of the red and green Christmas m&m's and I put 3 or 4 of them in each cookie before baking. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Yes, just put them on a tray with other cookies and toss some candy wrapped in Christmas colors on top.

i think any cookie can be considered a christmas cookie if it's made with the intention to celebrate the holidays.

Many people bake (me included) them at Christmas but technically I don't think they are classified as such. You can take a look a these recipes that make them more festive. -)
