Aries: daring sagittarius to go out into the ocean on a boogie board and flip off the surfers

Gemini: kayaking, but talking on a cell phone at the same time.

Leo: putting on tanning lotion

Libra: was going to go snorkeling, but then the water was too cold, but then the sand was too hot, but then the water was too cold, but then the grass was too wet...

Sagittarius: telling aries they'll do it for 5 bucks

Aquarius: walking through the tidepools, looking at sandcrabs and anemone

Taurus: mooching food from various parties

Cancer: in the kayak with gemini, trying to start a discussion about feelings as a giant wave is about to hit them

Virgo: beach volleyball

Scorpio: goes surfing with someone, but ends up doing them underwater as they'd planned

Capricorn: under an umbrella in a folding chair reading a magazine, yelling over their shoulder for taurus to quit with the mooching

Pisces: swimming, they brought with an under-water camera also

Can I do it by element instead?

Water Signs : They are within in their element, so they would be enjoying their time in the water. When it is time to go, it is difficult for them to come out.

Fire Signs - On the beach, working on their tan. They have to be tanner then everybody else!

Air Signs - Doing something with sports. Probably playing volleyball.

Earth Signs - Doing something recreational. Sunglasses, hat and sunblock on, reading a book or enjoying the view of the ocean.

LAWL this is fun. Ok, I won't be able to answer each one accurately but here's an attempt. (Taurus girl here)

Aries: Enjoying a game of beach volleyball, competing in who can build the best sandcastle, or possibly flaunting that new hotpink bikini.
Taurus: Either carefully rubbing on suntan lotion or wondering which snacks and refreshments are available for sale. Or, enjoying the scents of the sand and ocean. (I know myself best, hah.)
Aquarius: Collecting strange seashells, or talking to strange people they meet on the beach.
Pisces: Looking at the ocean dreamily; or, just having fun.
Gemini: Hanging out with a bunch of friends chit chattering about which activities you should do at the beach.
Cancer: At a place like the beach, they probably will show their playful side rather than their hidden "tender" side. So probably having fun because they tend to love water. And maybe admiring that guy or girl they like (from afar).
Leo: Showing off a new bikini they've been waiting to wear for months. Or, enthusiastically chatting with a group of friends.
Virgo: Thinking about whether or not they should go into the ocean, and if they do, how they will get clean and being glad that they brought extra clothes and shoes. Also probably lending towels to everyone since they obviously prepared!
Libra: Don't really know much about em, so probably having fun! (sorry Libras)
Scorpio: Thinkin' about their scantily-clad crush and wondering if they notice them too. But they are good at hiding it and probably appear to be having fun just like everyone else!
