How old do you have to be to get a Monroe in California with parental permission?
Please don't say I shouldn't get one or that they're ugly or they cause health risks, etc. I've done a lot of research on this, but what I can't find is the age with parental permission you have to be to get a Monroe done in California. I've heard that different places have different ages, but I know 11-13 year olds have had them done professionally at a piercer. Is this illegal/legal, or what?

There is no legal minimum age with consent. However shops can and often do set their own age limits. Most piercers will not pierce anything but ear lobes on anyone younger than 14 (and sometimes they set the age even higher).
And as a bit of a warning, I would be highly wary of any piercer willing to do a monroe on such young children; it's widely accepted in the piercing community to be unethical.

some places won't do it til you're 18 no matter if you have parental permission or not
some at 16..just kinda matters where you go
but be careful..some places who will do it at 16 aren't very clean
