So there's this guy... And he lied.. Please help me. :(?

Okay so i've know this guy since I was 2! we have been best friends ever since back two years ago I don't remember how we got started talking about it but he told me he lost his Virginity when he was 13 (he's 15 now told me this when he was 14) well last January we became more than just friends. And he continued to tell me he lost his virginity, this hurt me everyday because he had told me that he lost it to some girl he didn't even know that well just because he wanted to lose it and she was willing. Then after dating for seven months he comes out and tells me that he's never done that, I really do believe him because of reasons that don't need to be discussed. But I'm really just con fussed as to why he would lie to me about something like this??? Can you help me out please? I love him and I know he loves me, we have been together almost a year. I just really wanna know why he lied to me about something stupid like that? And yes I asked him but all he said was "I don't know baby i'm sorry, I love you." Please help???

it isn't anything to get upset over. he probably hasn't lost his virginity yet. my husband told me that he lost his and he really didn't and when I ask him why he lied to me about it he said it was because he felt embarrassed that he was still a virgin. so just let it go he is only 15 and most 15 year old's have already had sex so maybe he just wanted to part of the crowd. you will be able to tell if he is a virgin or not when the two of you have sex.

Look kid, guys have been bragging about losing their virginity forever. When it comes to that second brain of theirs they say all kinds of crazy things. Get over this - it's no big deal. Oh, and PLEASE use birth control (you should be on the pill).

Don't be too concerned about it. Guys tend to lie about sex with girls so that it makes them look better as men. I once had a guy tell me that he lost his virginity at 11. Try to just forget that he said it, and feel privileged that you might be the one he loses his virginity to.

He could be insecure about his sexual experiences and wants to seem like he knows what he's doing. Some guys feel like they need to be relationship pros to get a girl, when that really isn't it.

My ex boyfriend was the same way when we first began speaking he said he lost his virginity. and later on he ended up telling me he lied about it because he didnt know what i would think only because i wasnt a virgin and he was.

Don't worry darling, I think he was just trying to seem like more of a man. but he felt he could now be honest with you because he feels secure in your relationship, which is awesome! I think you should just carry on with your life together. It sounds like you two could be incredibly happy :) x

well, to be honest i know so many guys that say this because they really do think its the cool thing to say! they think that every girl with be with them if they think that he has had sex. i think what you need to do is literally take it with a pinch of salt i dont think he did it to lie or hurt you i think he did it because maybe he thought that you wanted him to say that, im not saying its your fault he said that no way, but i think you just move on from it now and exept he made a little mistake! xxx
