I'm right there with ya. I can't get enough. Try replacing bad sugar with good sugar. Get rid of the snack cakes and ice cream and eat fruits and drink fruit juices. It will curb your cravings for sugar. I do it by drinking lots of OJ. I love that stuff! I drink a gallon a week.
If you completely cut out sugar, someone's going to find you a week later in the kitchen at 2am eating sugar straight out of the container like a crazy lady! lol

There is no such thing as a sugar addiction as it contains nothing by way of addictive substance. However, if you want to blame your out of control "want" as due to addiction, go for it. But it's BS.
We all go through this, more than once in all likelihood. I have a constant sweet tooth. I indulge in my candy-lust every evening. But I avoid it like the plague during the day, limiting any exposure to regrettable dietary habits. It comes down to which is more important to me---being healthy in body and self esteem or fat and indulgent?
Does it come down to that for you as well?
C.mon, now---who's in charge of YOUR body?

Stop eating sugar.
Generally when you eat sugar you get a spike in blood sugar, followed by a crash in blood sugar when your pancreas kicks in and makes insulin.
This crash is why it's usually recommended that you eat complex carbohydrates... it doesn't result in the lowered blood sugar later.
It seems like this will be a difficult cycle for you to break, but you should wean yourself off the sugar. Slow your intake and spread it out, then reduce. Start eating protein.
If it were me I'd want to go "cold-turkey" on it, and I'd plan about a week of mostly sleep for the recovery. (and making sure there isn't any sugar around to be had.)
