I have either eyeliner or mascara IN my eye (its actually in my eye)?

Question

I was really tired last night so i went to bed with eyeliner, liquid eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, and blush on. So this morning when I got up, the liquid eyeliner was all over my eyes. So, i grabbed a wet towel and started washing the makeup off. Then when I looked in the mirror and I pulled my eye down, you could see a tiny clump of something black. It is now hiding underneath my eye, and I dont know how to get it out. Im scared. What should I do? Please dont reccomend flushing my eye with water becuz I cant do that, its too painful.

Like the first answerer said, it shouldn't be a problem. It's not toxic. Just close your eyes and roll them around or use eye drops. It will eventually surface and if it doesn't it will eventually be absorbed or dissolved by the body. If you are truly concerned, call your Dr, but just ask to talk to the nurse and tell her what happened. That will ease your mind that it's ok.

Just rub your eyes for a while. It's not that big of a deal.

that happens to me all the time. just let it go. it will eventually come to the corner of your eye and you can get it out then. don't worry its not hurting you.

Use a q-tip and try to pull it out, (as long as you don't come near the iris, you should be fine.) If that doesn't work, try crying, by irritating the eye.

Just keep blinking or leave it if it doesnt hurt :)
