Prom in STARWARS' stormtrooper custome?

Question

Hi,

I am a senior in HS. I would like to go to prom alone in a stormtrooper custome because it is a very expensive custome and costs as much as a tuxedo. The school says its OK.

btw It's soo boring to wear tuxedos like everyone else. It so common.

I don't know what others will think of me?

What will your thoughts be if I go to prom in a stormtrooper custome?

Will you hang out with me,or make-fun of me?

Any help would be appreciated. Stormtrooper as in from Star Wars not from the nazis.

Sounds awesome mate, you're right tuxedos are very common and boring and if it's about making a statement then you should go for it, remember it's your Prom too and you should go with what will make you happy.

I think it's a cool idea, but it might be hard to talk to people or dance if you have to wear that all night! Also, why do you want to go alone? I would work on that part too, even if you're just with a female friend. What if you just get the helmet part of the costume and wear a tux too? That would be funny.

haha i would totally hang out with you! im a random person that way and chillin with a random stormtrooper would be soooo cool! lol i bet thats gunna be me next year, but ill probly be in a penguin suit or something :P
but thats just me, cuz im not normal :P others, like all the snobby preps and cheerleaders and those types of ppl will think your stupid and weird, but so wat? you want to do it, so i say you should go for it! :)

lol and besides, nobody will know its you under the costume anyways, so i dont think theres a reason to be worried! :D :D

While I totally applaud ur creativity you may wanna rethink this. Don't get me wrong I'm a star wars fan and think it would be awesome...
but once u do it, ur gonna get stigmatized by the majority of ur peers. They're gonna call you names and tease you. Some may even get a little physical cause they see different as weak. This is a normal guy thing. If you can kick the quarterback's *** then go for it. u'll have girls all night long. If not then there's only gonna be a select few girls to date in ur school district. U'll have to leave home and completely change ur life style to pick up a girl.

Anyway... just for the record mate... I'm not trying to stop you. It's ur life and u should do what makes you happy. Just remember there's always gonna be consequences so think it thru.
