I want to get a tattoo but my fiancee hates them?

We aren't married yet... so I am not "his." But it be totally bad if I got a tattoo??? He hates tattoos and things they are gross and I would be desecrating my beautiful body. I think tattoos are a way of defining yourself. I want to get a tattoo of a flower to symbolize my closeness and appreciation for nature and beauty. I dont want a huge one, do you think it would be bad if I got one???

this is definitely the best solution. Ill tell him its real, and if he freaks, then I know not to do it.

Best case scenario would be that he likes it (or is at least content with it) and worst case scenario would be that he hates it and is less or not at all attracted to you.

You'll have to gamble it if you really want a tattoo. He's already made it clear to you how he feels about them, you didn't have one when you met him, and if you're willing to risk him no longer being attracted to you then go for it.

It's your choice and your decision, tell him he does not own you and he has to accept you and your ways and vice versa. Tell him he doesn't really have a say in the matter. But if he drops you because of this then he was a shallow person to start with.

If we claim to love someone, then we should not do things that we know will hurt them. Maybe you should not marry this guy. One of you will end up resenting the other.
