Just tell her how much it would mean to you if he can stay, and you'll be heartbroken if he moves, tell her he will help pay rent, and help out around the house. There's not much else you can say, the ball is really in her court. Good luck!

It's not that easy. You think its hard for you to be away from him for awhile... what makes you think it would be better to be away from his parents? Divorce is a hard thing for kids as it is, and he is going to need to be close to his mom and dad... He may lean on you when hes upset or he may have fun with you, but its not that easy...
Plus, times are hard, and your parents cant just take in another child just like that when he has parents. It would be different if he had nowhere to go, but he has both of his parents to take care of him. I know it will be hard to be without him for awhile but its not like you wont EVER see him again. He will come visit, and you can visit him and when hes older he may choose to move back home.
