Taking a shower with friend?

i'm supposed to go to gym tomorrow after class with a friend.. and very likely we'll take a showers after working out.. just wondering, would the shower part be 'embarrassed' for either of us? we haven't seen each other naked before.. we are both 2nd year college student and know each other for about 1 year..

I shower at the gym with guys my age. It's no big deal. It might be awkward when you're undressing but once you're naked it's not a big deal.

Depends on both of you. You could just wait and take turns either you go in before him and wait or vice versa...

Just face away from each other. It is not like you will be checking each other out. It is not a big deal. You are blowing it out of proportion.

You will both be embarrassed for about ten seconds - then it passes!! It's not a big deal once you've done it, and I guess you'll be showering together a lot in the future if you're at college together.

I am assuming your friend is another male.....so unless you or he is hideously disfigured...what's to be embarrassed about.

Chances are that you'll be naked together, but don't make a big deal out of it. It's a locker room/shower, just do your thing and then leave. Besides, whether you'd want any "shenanigans" to take place or not, would you want it to happen in a public locker room?
2nd Year college students? That means you're adults, act like one.

You'll probably chit chat with each other during it to take your minds off what's happening. You'll be going through the same motions as when you take a shower alone at home. So that part should feel normal. There's nothing to be embarrassed about as far as being naked in front of someone the same gender, especially if you're both naked at the time.

Do you plan on having sexual relations in the shower? If not, then no big deal. Showering after a work out is normal.

I'm also a 2nd year college student and until this year I was never exposed to showering with other people. It was really awkward for me at first, but I'm getting used to it. I've seen lots of guys there who are obviously friends who shower together and think nothing of it. They still joke around and have normal conversation while naked. So chances are your friend has showered with lots of friends in the past and didn't care, so just fake that you don't care either. Eventually, you won't.
