Is kissing on a first date wrong?

Question

I was on a date with my gf and where both 16 and I was her first boy she went out with.
So we did out thing and on the way back to her house, we made out for a minute or two minutes and she seemed fine.
So when we got to her house, we both got out of the car and I hugged her and we kissed again and then I left.
The next day she said that she dosen't like kissing on first date, why did she kiss me in the first place??

I definitely think that a nice peck on the cheek is good on the first date. You may want to be sure she seems ready though. If she looks uncomfortable don't. If she is smiling and her eyes seem to glitter a nice sweet simple kiss would be perfect
