Any tips on moving furniture out of my room?

I am trying to move some heavy furniture out of my room, but I can't remember what the items are called that slide under the furniture to help it move. It's like a small wheel that slides under the corners to help it move easier. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I have some of those three wheeled dollies. They aren't all that gereat. Just put an old towel or cotton rug under the feet and drag the rug instead of pushing the furnature and breaking the legs. The best tool is a real dumb but strong friend or several. Just no beer until the job is over.

You can get a set of plastic disks that you place under each leg (ask the folks at Home Depot or Lowe's). You just slide the furniture around. However, that being said if the floor finish isn't tough enough you will leave slide tracks that are hard to remove. Get yourself some Rosen Paper from Home Depot (the stuff they put under flooring when they install it) to place under the above sliders. Just roll out a path of paper to slide on.

All good answers so far. You are looking for a furniture dolly. They can be rented, or if you have more to do/often, you can make one.
A last ditch way is to get some cheap sheet plastic, put an old rug on top of that, tip the piece of furniture up to scoot it underneath. Repeat for other side. Pull the carpet/plastic together while some else steadies/pushes from behind. This works well on carpet. On hardwood floors, sprinkle some "baby-powder" in front of the direction you are going.

If you don't have a furniture dolly, use an old blanket under the item to be moved and slide it around.
