Do you think it's normal that a maid brings her 7-month-old baby to work?

My grandparents hired a girl to clean the house and she brings her baby with her! So my grandfather has to babysit the baby while she cleans! Plus, she changes her baby on our dinner table! And cleans his little tushi on the bathroom sink, where we wash our face! She decided the day of the week that suits her better to come to work, because she has other stuff to do during the week. Once she brought her older son (7years old) too! She's always late! She's been able to come to work over a hour late once! And she took off an hour and a half later!
I tried to open my gandma's eyes, but she yelled at me (she thinks everybody is a saint except the family members).

What do you think about that? Do you think that this kind of behavior is normal?

no its not normal
and should anything happen, an accident, like the 7 year old trips and bangs their head on a table, your grandparents are liable, unless they have insurance for this, which i doubt they will as this seems casual employment

not only will she not be doing her job properly looking after children, but she is taking advantage
but, should she make a claim, its your grandparents who need to pay, and if they dont have money, the courts will sell their home, explain his to them, that should make them see sense

i think the just like having the children around
but she can visit if thats the case, she cannot bring them to work

Honestly, I don't see what's the big deal in all this. First off, she's a maid, which is generally a low-paid job, so chances are that she may not be able to afford to pay for someone to look after her baby while she is at work. Second, does the presence of this child make her cleaning or caring worse? Is she poor at her job? If not then I'd say she is fine.
As well, I don't see issue of changing or cleaning a baby. My guess is you have never been a parent or see anyone take care of a baby. Washing a newborn in a sink is the recommended thing to do, rather than a big tub where a baby could easily drown or get hurt. And if your grandparents don't mind this and are happy with that maid, then quite frankly, why should you?

With that being said, tardiness is not acceptable. Is she really always late or were those two incidents due special circumstances?
