How do I Make "love"?

So on t.v. show I all ways hear the words "make love". What does this mean? does it mean like to fall in love with someone? or does it mean to...you..know...get it on...?

Making love is a romantic reference to sex. Some people say making love is different than having sex because while you're "making love" you are in love with your partner and sex is some form of connection. Sex is when you just have sexual intercourse with a person without any other form of spiritual or "love" connection.

Make love = parental term for having sex.

Making love comes from older times I guess when the act of having sex was between a married man and woman for the purpose of making children. But considering how everybody has sex with anybody now and days and all good morals are spit, making love no longer applies to everyone just those few people who cared to wait.

So it's sex..
