Does anybody else really hate family events?

i hate family events i always feel like the black sheep pf the family?

For the most part.

My mothers family is Peruvian and they are really warm and caring. They make me feel welcomed.

HOWEVER, my dad's side of the family is Guyanese (Indian) and they are really gossipy, cliquey, and just plain two-faced.

yea some of my family makes me feel welcomed but most of them act like im some strange weirdo.
