Sleeping dogs the procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located?

hi i recently got the game sleeping dogs. when i first ran it i had d3d11.dll was not found so i downloaded that file and put it in the game folder but now im getting the procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located error. and its only with sleeping dogs. i have tried running diffrent games and they start up fine. i am running windows xp. is there any fix for this? i have looked at the microsoft fix but i dont have the windows xp disc

me too, XP sp3 and have no file dwmapi.dll in sytem32. please help us

bro i have been having d same problem bro.it's simply cause sleeping dogs don run on xp.Get a copy of 7 and you are game.
